How to Prepare an RV Cover Warranty Request

Give support a clear starting point

An RV cover warranty request is easier to assess when the product and the problem can be identified together. A close-up of a tear is useful, but the team also needs to know which cover it belongs to and when it was purchased.

Lanceton support conversations have included damage around strap attachment points, seams and other areas of the fabric. In some cases, customers supplied their purchase information and photographs, and the team proceeded to arrange a replacement. A shipment update alone does not prove that a replacement was received or that the issue was resolved.

A practical information checklist

  • Order reference, purchase date and purchase channel.
  • RV cover type and size: Class A, Class C, Travel Trailer or Fifth Wheel.
  • One photograph showing the cover as a whole.
  • Close-up photographs of the affected seam, attachment point or fabric.
  • A brief account of when the issue first appeared.
  • Any relevant installation or storage details, without guessing at the cause.

Send photographs through the support channel rather than posting receipts, addresses or order details publicly. Support may request a shipping address if a replacement is being arranged.

Describe observations, not assumptions

“The fabric split beside this strap mount” is more helpful than a guess about why it happened. The same principle applies to the support team: a customer should not be blamed for washing, installation or weather exposure without evidence.

Avoid making a repair before asking whether it will affect assessment, especially if the cover can no longer be used safely. Keep the damaged product available until you receive instructions about return or disposal.

Check which terms apply

The terms associated with your order matter. A return window and a manufacturer's warranty are not the same thing, and an individual goodwill decision does not change the policy for other orders.

Email lanceton.outdoor@gmail.com with the details above. Ask for the next step and keep the conversation in one thread so information does not need to be supplied repeatedly.
